I have studied a wide range of genres in my time there such as Gospel, Western Choral, Gregorian chant, African song, Classical and Traditional Irish Song.
I have worked as an intern with Michel Durham in her vocal studio in Galway city. In my work with Michel Durham I had a hands-on role in teaching vocals on the Access Music Project in Galway, in 2013 I worked with the Galway Gospel choir conducting and teaching vocal arrangements. For the last three years I have had the pleasure of teaching on the School of Rock project in Galway city assisting Michel Durham to teach vocals to teenagers.
I am a member of the talented female vocal group “Eve“. As a member of the group I have had the pleasure of performing at many high profile events; the highlight being UL President’s dinner in Adare Manor for esteemed guests such as Micheal Flatley and I performed at a Munster rugby match in Thomond Park Limerick and many more.
My main passion is teaching and in my vocal lessons I work in a group or a one-to-one setting. This includes extensive vocal technique training to improve confidence, vocal range, breathing issues, sight singing and repertoire building. We work extensively on stage presence, diction and how to develop and train the musical ear.
